Warehouse associates are responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. They must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for warehouse associates. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects are also essential for this role.
We are looking for a capable Warehouse Associate to support our company’s warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities.
A Warehouse Associate typically performs a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis. Some of their responsibilities may include:
Receiving: Unloading and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality, and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
Stocking and organizing: Sorting and storing goods in designated locations, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space, and maintaining an organized inventory system.
Picking and packing: Gathering items from inventory based on order requirements, packaging them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
Shipping: Printing labels, arranging transportation, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers or other locations.
Inventory control: Conducting regular stock counts, investigating discrepancies, identifying damaged or expired items, and updating inventory records.
Equipment operation: Operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move, lift, or stack goods in the warehouse.
Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as documenting any damaged goods or other issues.
Safety and cleanliness: Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Collaborating with team members: Working collaboratively with other warehouse associates, as well as supervisors and other departments, to complete tasks and resolve any issues that may arise.
