Recruit CRM or Longlist: who each one suits

Recruit CRM covers more ground, with invoicing, timesheets, client and contractor portals and an external profile search, paid for partly in credits. Longlist covers less but includes its outreach and candidate presentation in the seat price. Pick Recruit CRM for contract billing in one system; pick Longlist if you want a predictable bill for a perm or search desk.

A CLOSER LOOK AT LONGLIST

Included in Growth, metered or tiered in Recruit CRM

The three features that change the most between Recruit CRM's plans.

02

CV packs without a formatting agent.

Choose a formatted, original or watermarked CV behind your cover page.

A branded cover page with the details the client should see, and the CV style you choose.
03

A careers page with the CRM.

Applicants land in the job's Review stage with a parsed CV.

A job post published to the careers page and Google for Jobs; the application lands in Review with the CV parsed.

You want to be billed in GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD, JPY or INR.

THE DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

What pushes agencies off Recruit CRM

Reviewers on Capterra and G2 return to the same three complaints.

  • AI and automation that cost extra

Reviewers say AI and automation add-ons make Recruit CRM feel overpriced. Longlist's AI CV parsing has no credits or per-CV charges, and sequences are on every plan.

  • Workflows that are hard to follow

Reviewers mention complex workflows and confusing navigation. Longlist runs each job on a kanban pipeline with a standard stage set from Review to Joined.

  • Duplicates and parsing errors

Reviewers report buggy search, imprecise CV parsing and weak duplicate detection. Longlist matches existing candidates by email and LinkedIn URL when CVs and applications arrive.

Your Recruit CRM data comes with you

Send us your Recruit CRM export and our team maps and imports your candidates, contacts, companies, jobs, placements, notes and files, then checks it with you before you go live. Migration is free.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Switching from Recruit CRM

Our team handles the migration for free. Recruit CRM lets the account owner export the whole account, which is the place to start.

Walk through it with us
  1. 01

    Have the account owner export

Owners, admins and custom roles can export list pages to CSV or Excel. The full-account export is limited to the account owner, so ask them to run it and check whether resumes are included.

  2. 02

    Check your billing term

If you pay annually, plan the move for the end of the paid year. Check the notice terms in your Recruit CRM agreement before you cancel.

  3. 03

    Decide where contract billing lives

Invoices and timesheets don't move into Longlist. Export them for your accounting or back-office system; we import contract placements with their bill and pay rates.

  4. 04

We import and you restart outreach

We map candidates, contacts, companies, deals, jobs, notes and CVs and check for duplicates. You rebuild active sequences and connect your mailbox.

FROM THE TEAMS USING LONGLIST

Recruiters, in their own words.

Chris Byrne · Head of Delivery, Marsh RPF

Growing the business

I could say we have seen more than a 20% increase without any additional overhead.

Our business has gone up a lot, and there are two reasons for that. One – the database that we were able to build in quick succession allowed us to promptly reach out to candidates and clients.

Second, I feel more confident that we have all the new technology for recruitment at our disposal.

Brad Chapman · Managing Director, TechSearch360
