A Gardener is a worker employed in the agriculture or landscaping industry. They are responsible for a variety of tasks related to the care and maintenance of plants in outdoor or indoor settings. Experience in landscaping and plant care is often preferred. Other qualifications may include a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture. Gardners may also need to be knowledgeable of safe gardening practices, such as handling pesticides, fertilizers, and soil management. They should be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as lift and move heavy objects.
