Event Planning: Researching and selecting venues, creating event timelines and budgets, coordinating logistics, and developing event concepts.
Vendor Management: Identifying and managing partnerships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the work of suppliers like caterers, decorators, audiovisual technicians, and security personnel.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing event budgets, tracking expenses, and reconciling invoices.
Event Promotion and Marketing: Creating event marketing strategies, designing promotional materials, and managing social media campaigns.
Coordination and Execution: Overseeing event setup and teardown, managing event staff and volunteers, coordinating event flow, and ensuring all elements of the event are running smoothly.
Client Communication: Regularly liaising with clients to understand their event requirements, providing progress updates, and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
Problem Solving: Resolving any challenges or unexpected issues that occur during the planning or execution of an event.
Post-Event Analysis: Conducting evaluations and collecting feedback from attendees, vendors, and clients to gauge the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
