Making a placement post that works.
- Keep it anonymous unless everyone has agreed. “A Series B fintech” says enough, and protects the client and candidate.
- Show the speed when it’s impressive. Days from brief to offer is the number clients notice.
- Thank people. A line for the hiring manager and the candidate makes the post about them, not you.
- Post soon after the offer is accepted, once the candidate has resigned and is happy for it to be public.
Should I name the candidate or the client?
Only with their permission. Most recruiters describe the client (“a Series B fintech”) and leave the candidate unnamed until they’ve started. You can tag both in the post if they’re happy to be mentioned.
Can I use my own branding?
Yes. Add your name, agency, brand colour and logo once and every post and report uses them. They’re saved in your browser only, so they’re ready next time and never uploaded.
What size are the images?
Choose portrait (1080 × 1350), which LinkedIn and Instagram show largest in the feed, or square (1080 × 1080). Copy the suggested post to go with it and edit it in your own words.
Is anything I add uploaded?
No. The image is drawn in your browser and downloaded straight to your device. Your photo and logo stay on your computer.
