From file to profile in seconds.
Contact details, work history, education and skills are pulled out and saved to the candidate record.

Longlist uses AI for two repetitive tasks, reading CVs and drafting outreach. Screening and shortlisting stay with the recruiter, so you spend more of the week talking to candidates and clients.
A CLOSER LOOK AT LONGLIST
Upload one CV or a whole folder. AI reads each one and fills in the profile for you.
LESS FRICTION. MORE MOMENTUM.
Practical AI built into your recruitment CRM, with no separate tool to learn.
Name, emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn URL, location, work history, education and skills are extracted from every CV. Included on every plan with no per-CV charge. See the resume parser.

PDFs, Word documents and scanned CVs are all read. Scanned files go through text recognition first, so image-only CVs still become searchable profiles.
CVs that arrive through your careers page are parsed on arrival, so new applicants are searchable straight away.
Choose a tone (engaging, formal, casual or persuasive) and a length. AI drafts a personal email from the candidate’s experience and the job title. Review it, edit it, then send.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
How AI fits into a normal day on the desk.
Upload it to the candidate record, drop in a batch, or let it arrive with an application.
Contact details, experience and skills land on the record. Duplicates are flagged by email and LinkedIn URL.
Search your recruiting database by keyword, skill, title or tag, and build the shortlist.

Pick a tone and length, get a draft, then make it yours before it goes out.
Email sequences send the follow-ups from your mailbox and stop when they reply.

Longlist doesn’t screen candidates out or rank them for you, and AI drafts are never sent without a recruiter reviewing them. There are no autonomous AI agents, call recording or meeting notetakers. If those are central to your process, compare tools that specialise in them.
Compare per-user monthly rates and the selected billing term. Longlist is priced in USD; vendor currencies, usage and subscription terms are stated separately.

When an agency should rely on the parser in its CRM and when a parsing API from Textkernel, RChilli, Affinda, DaXtra or HireAbility makes sense, with a 30-CV accuracy test, a scoring sheet and the GDPR questions to ask.

A practical sourcing playbook for agency recruiters: turn the brief into a search plan, rediscover your own database, then work referrals, LinkedIn, Boolean and X-ray, technical communities and job boards, find contact details legally, and qualify a shortlist.
