How the recommendation is worked out.

The recommended base is the highest of three numbers, rounded to a clean figure:

  • their current base plus the typical rise people expect when they move;
  • what they’ve asked for;
  • 3% above any competing offer.

The report shows where that sits against the market median and the budget, and suggests a sign-on bonus or early review if it’s over budget.

LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP

Questions recruiters ask.

Talk to our team
Why not just offer the budget?

Offering more than the candidate needs to accept spends budget you might need elsewhere; offering less than they expect invites a counter-offer. The recommendation aims for the lowest number that wins.

Does it include bonus and benefits?

It’s based on base salary. Add notes about bonus, equity, flexibility or benefits in the extra points field and they appear in the reasons.

How do I send it to a client?

Use Print or save as PDF and choose Save as PDF, then attach it to an email. Only the report is printed, on a single page where it fits.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes. Add your name, agency, brand colour and logo once and every post and report uses them. They’re saved in your browser only, so they’re ready next time and never uploaded.
