How to make the most of it.
A year in review works because it shows the effort behind the results. Clients and candidates rarely see the hundreds of conversations that sit behind each placement; the post puts them side by side.
- Use real numbers. Pull them from your CRM or ATS reports rather than estimating.
- Pick one proudest moment. A specific placement or a client win reads better than a list.
- Thank people. The suggested post ends by thanking the candidates and clients you worked with. Tag your team if they helped.
- Post in the first two weeks of December or January, when everyone is looking back.
What should I put on my year in review?
The numbers that show the work behind your results: people placed, candidate conversations, CVs sent and interviews arranged. Add a proudest moment that a client or candidate would recognise, without naming anyone who hasn’t agreed to it.
Should I share my billings?
That’s up to you and your agency. Billings are off by default because many agencies keep them private and some clients read them the wrong way. Placements and activity tell the story without them.
Can I use my own branding?
Yes. Add your name, job title, agency, brand colour, logo and photo, and pick a style. They’re saved in your browser only, so every post you make uses them.
Is anything I type uploaded?
No. The image is drawn in your browser and downloaded straight to your device. Nothing is sent to Longlist or anyone else.
What size is the image?
Choose portrait (1080 × 1350), which LinkedIn and Instagram show largest in the feed, or square (1080 × 1080). Copy the suggested post to go with it and edit it in your own words.
