What goes into the report.

  • Hires made, and the share of roles briefed that you filled.
  • Average time to fill against the client’s usual, so the comparison is with their own experience rather than a market figure.
  • Interviews from CVs, which shows the quality of your shortlists, and CVs presented per hire.
  • Offers accepted and hires still in post after 90 days.
  • Value of faster hiring: weeks of vacancy avoided × what an open role costs each week. The assumptions are printed on the report so the client can see how it was worked out.

Add up to six highlights in your own words. They’re often the part clients remember.

LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP

Questions recruiters ask.

Talk to our team
What should a recruitment agency report to clients?

What they care about: hires made, how quickly roles were filled compared with what they’re used to, how many CVs it took to get to an interview, offer acceptance, and whether hires stayed. Add a few highlights in plain language. Leave out activity they don’t see value in.

How is the value of faster hiring worked out?

Every week a role is open costs the client the value it would have created. The report takes the days you saved against their usual time to fill, across every hire, and multiplies the weeks saved by the weekly value of a role: salary × the value multiple ÷ 52, less the share of the work their team covered meanwhile.

Who is this report for?

Your contact at the client, and the people they report to. A hiring manager or talent lead can forward it to their finance director or leadership team to show what their recruitment partner delivered. Use it in quarterly business reviews, renewals and fee conversations.

Is the data I enter stored?

No. The report is built in your browser. The numbers are kept in the part of the page address after the #, which browsers never send to a server, so you can bookmark it and come back. Anyone you share the link with can see them, so only share it with people you’d share the report with.
