How the proposal is worked out.

Fees next year are the roles expected × the average salary × the fee. The proposal compares your current fee with the one you’re offering, and shows the saving for the client in money and as a share.

Offering a lower fee for exclusivity or volume often wins more work overall: fewer agencies on each role means more of them fill, and the client gets a partner rather than a supplier.

LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP

Questions recruiters ask.

Talk to our team
What should I ask for in return for a lower fee?

Exclusivity on the roles, a minimum number of roles, faster feedback, or a retainer for senior searches. Put it in the proposal so the trade is clear.

When should I send it?

At an annual or quarterly review, or when the client is planning next year’s hiring. Send it after a strong quarter, when the results speak for themselves.

How do I send it to a client?

Use Print or save as PDF and choose Save as PDF, then attach it to an email. Only the report is printed, on a single page where it fits.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes. Add your name, agency, brand colour and logo once and every post and report uses them. They’re saved in your browser only, so they’re ready next time and never uploaded.
